I'd describe my personality as patient, humble, and energetic I love working with kids because I've always wanted a big family of my own. I just enjoy being around children and being part of their story. If I can make your life easier, then I'm doing what I do best. I started working with kids as child having siblings. Took a babysitting course at 11 and became the town babysitter. In my early 20s I took in twins while their mother was unable to care for them. I've adopted 2 children of my own. I also became a CNA in 2004 and have taken care of elderly and their families in their homes since. In my spare time I enjoy time with my kids and dogs. I enjoy reading, hiking and exploring new places. Doing crafts with my daughter . I am an independent hard working single mother looking to earn extra income when possible. Right now I have one Wednesday night family. I pick the 2 boys up from Jiu-Jitsu and get them home safely.

From day one Melanie has been wonderful. She's prompt, thoughful and considerate of all our routines and practices here at home. The boys love having her as their sitter, and I love having a dependable/consistent person to care for them while I'm busy. Melanie has been a fantastic sitter/caretaker, 10/10 recommend.
