About Melanie

From a young age, I've felt drawn to helping children learn and grow. My three years as a babysitter and an overnight summer camp counselor solidified my desire to positively impact young lives. This is also the thing that has led me to choose elementary education as my major. I am comfortable caring for up to three children of any age, and I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I enjoy playing outdoor sports and educational games with children. My skills include First Aid Training, CPR Training, and coursework in Early Child Development. I am currently in my freshman year of college at the University of Utah and plan to become an Elementary school teacher. I am also minoring in special education and am an assistant teacher for Tanner Dance's adaptive needs program. Ultimately, I hope to bring my passion and experience to your family, creating a nurturing and fun environment for your children to thrive.
