About Melanie

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to help educate your child. With two years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Science, and essential study skills for elementary and middle school students. I believe in fostering a love for learning by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment. By actively listening and observing how your child may interact with new material, I tailor my methods to fit your child's specific needs. I prioritize clear, consistent communication to build trust and ensure we are working toward your child's goals together. Whether we are tackling challenging concepts or refining study habits, I focus on building your child's confidence and critical thinking skills. I am comfortable with pets and happy to host sessions in my home. Helping you achieve academic success while making the process enjoyable is what I find most rewarding.
