About Melanie

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the foundation of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, and Science for elementary and middle school students. I cultivate an engaging, patient environment where I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum and confidence. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your specific needs. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we are aligned on your progress and goals. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a challenging concept finally clicks for you. I am committed to empowering you with critical thinking skills that foster long-term success. I look forward to supporting your academic journey and helping you reach your goals.
