Hi! I'm Melanie! I'm a first-year doctorate student at USC studying occupational therapy! Many people ask me why OT, and the short answer is that when I was born, the doctors told my parents that my twin brother would never walk, or talk and would need assistance his entire life. Throughout the years, my brother has taught me selflessness, and patience and fostered my intuitiveness in detecting people's needs. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, consistent, and fun.
