For the past 11 years I have served as an Education Specialist to people with a wide range of disabilities that include, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Angelman's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Emotionally Disabled. I enjoy supporting people learn skills that promote independence. I'd describe my personality as Kind, thoughtful, humorous. I like caring for people with special needs because I like being apart of their growth. I'm looking for a job that I can do during my off time to provide in-home support to people with special needs. I started caring for people with special needs when I met my cousin with special needs. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my my young nieces and nephews bring me the most joy. I also like exercise and bowl. I enjoy going to sporting events and concerts. I have a full time teaching job, but I am available some evenings, and have more availability during the Summer months. My skills include compassionate, meal preparation, and cleaning.
