I began babysitting when I was 14, I am now 41 . I've gained experience working in homes, school settings, art academies, after school care programs, a private care company, a summer camp, and raising my own (now 8-year-old) daughter. I am extremely resourceful, and can come up with fun activities, songs, stories and crafts on a whim. My experience working with children has taught me to think on my toes along with outside of the box, and be prepared for anything and everything at all times. I have my DCF 40 hrs, am CPR/heartsaver/first aid certified, have a clean driving record with my own transportation, and can pass any background/drug screening. My top goals as a caregiver are to make sure that you, as the parent, feel at ease trusting me with your children, and that your children are happy, safe, and well cared for.

Mel watched both of my girls, ages 1 and 3.5 at the time, and I always felt safe dropping them off to her. The girls would have such a great time and beg me to stay longer or come back again the next day. She cared about their health and would feed them healthy food, along with get them active. They even had some fun out door outings. Her background in art kept the kids always engaged and having a blast. I would highly recommend Mel to any parent who is looking for a child care expert! 100 Stars if I could!
