About Mekdes

Making a difference in the lives of adults and seniors is my calling. With all experiences as a caregiver, I bring compassion and empathy to every interaction. My approach is patient and calm, and I strive to be friendly and approachable. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by learning about their preferences and personal history. I provide transportation, run errands, handle shopping, assist with personal care, perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, and offer mobility assistance. I also have experience de-escalating stressful situations and redirecting attention when needed, particularly for those with dementia or memory care needs. I communicate with families through verbal updates, regular texts, or phone calls, always following their preferred method. I have some college experience and certifications in CPR and First Aid. I look forward to bringing my skills and caring heart to your family.
