I grew up on Capitol Hill and after 23 years in NYC and Santa Moncia, moved back with my husband and our son and daughter. I've always loved working with children, whether as a nanny, a baby-sitter, raising my kids - one of the greatest joys of my life. I like to have clear and open communication with parents, and am happy to provide whatever they communication makes them most comfortable. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and teaching manner I love reading to kids, playing board games and running around at the park or going for walks. I'm comfortable taking care of newborns, babies and kids up to age 12. I happy to help with cooking and meals. I grew up learning child development from my mother, Marguerite Kelly, who wrote the Mother's Almanac series and Family Almanac column for the Post. I meet children at their developmental stage to help them grow confident and resilient. I love creating a safe, nurturing environment that supports their mind, body and spirit.

We absolutely adore Meg and couldn’t imagine a better caregiver for our son. She began caring for him when he was just two months old, and now at nine months, it’s clear how much he has thrived under her care. Meg is incredibly intuitive and attentive—she listens to his cues effortlessly and always seems to know exactly what he needs. She’s a natural caregiver who brings so much joy, patience, and energy to every day. Meg keeps him engaged with thoughtful activities, from museum and library outings to playtime at the park and creative learning experiences at home. She finds new ways to support both his physical development and his early curiosity, and the love she shows him is unmistakable. Beyond caring for our son, she is wonderfully helpful around our home and truly feels like a member of our family. We recommend her wholeheartedly and feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives.
