About Megan

I'm primarily looking to cultivate literacy and critical thinking skills in young children. As an experienced educator, I have seen first-hand the difference in academic trajectory between students who arrive at their pre-k, kinder, or first grade classrooms already possessing fundamental literacy and math skills and those who don't. Please contact me if you are passionate about giving your young child a running start into successful scholarship. I have been in early childhood and elementary education for 5+ years. I led bilingual kindergartners to outperform our district region in Reading and Math. Since then, I've worked at a high performing charter school, meeting the many challenges of a diverse demographic. In all, I have classroom and tutoring experience with students ranging from Pre-K to middle school, with a strong emphasis on literacy. I can teach students all of the necessary skills to be successful readers in English and/or Spanish.
