About Megan

Hi! I'm an experienced educator specializing in early literacy and foundational math for elementary learners. I have extensive training in the Science of Reading, using evidence-based practices to support phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension. I also have a strong background in teaching foundational math skills that are essential for students' number sense, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies. My teaching approach is student-centered, trauma-informed, and tailored to each child's unique strengths and needs. I believe that all children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and engaged. Whether your child needs extra support, enrichment, or help building confidence (or even simply help with homework!), I am committed to creating a positive learning experience that helps them thrive as lifelong learners.
