About Megan
Experience: 2 yrs
I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. With a college degree and two years of experience, I empower elementary school students to develop critical thinking skills. I actively listen and observe to adapt my teaching methods, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to engage them in Math, English, and Art. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate successes. Communication is essential, and I value building trust with students and parents. I am a certified teacher with experience in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and can tutor at the student's or teacher's home. I'd love to help your child thrive!
