About Meagan

Hi! My name is Meagan! In my current role as a Distance Learning Advisor, I work closely with students who are behind, overwhelmed, or struggling to manage coursework. I help them organize assignments, prioritize tasks, develop study and time-management skills, and stay accountable week to week. Prior to this role, I worked in a Title I program at an intermediate school, where I supported students as a reading comprehension specialist. This experience strengthened my ability to break down material, build confidence, and meet students where they are academically. I specialize in academic coaching rather than traditional tutoring -- helping students develop the skills they need to succeed independently. I take a patient, supportive, and non-judgmental approach and work especially well with students who feel unmotivated, anxious, or overwhelmed by school. I am available for ongoing academic support sessions and can work with students virtually or in person, depending on needs.
