I am a retired educator (School Psychologist) with 30+ years experience in public schools. My preference would be tutoring children who are elementary age, Pre-K to 5th grade. My tutoring skills include: math, (math computation and solving word problems) reading (sight word vocabulary and reading comprehension) written and oral language. My specialized training includes working with students with special needs, study skills, organizational and focusing skills and play based training. I am a very positive person who will help students with motivation and self-esteem issues, and students with anxiety and depression. I hope you will consider me for tutoring for this summer of 2026. It would be the perfect time to help assist struggling students who need more preparation skills to be ready to start a fresh, new fall session when returning to the 2026-27 school year. I reside in the Biltmore Park area in Arden. I can travel within a 10 mile radius.
