About Meagan

Fun-loving, empathetic, witty. I want to help provide care to families that need it. I believe that it takes a village, but villages are harder to come by these days. I prefer a set schedule but am also prepared to work as needed. I'd like to work with kids of school age and am able to help out with all that entails (pickups, drop-offs, homework, etc). I babysat sporadically during high school, but my first official position working with children was when I was 17. I grew up attending summer camp, and when I was of age I began working there. At 17 I was an SIT (Staff in Training) where I worked closely with kids, and I've worked there for the last five summers. I love to read and paint. I'm not a particularly talented painter, but it's fun nonetheless! I also enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking. I am trained in adult and pediatric CPR and First Aid. I have experience in mediating conflict between children and assisting with emotional regulation.
