Hi! My name is McKenzie and I am currently working on a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LSUS. My goal is to work with children specifically after completing my degree. I made this decision based on the 6+ years of full-time childcare experience I was so blessed to be given. During these last 6 years I have learned more than I ever could have imagined about the way children think and learn but also many things about myself. I have primarily worked with two families, both of which I am still very close with and I continue to work for one of the families as much as I can. However, since I do not get to work with them as often anymore I am looking for a position during the day that is still fulfilling to me, as well as offers me more experience and knowledge in my field of study. It truly brings me so much joy watching children grow and learn, especially when I get to be a part of their journey!
