About Lekayla

My name is Le'Kayla & I am a 5th year Kindergarten teacher! I have always had a passion for working w/children. I have always known that I wanted to teach. Growing up, I babysat for many years for family friends & local families. I went to NSU in Natchitoches & received my degree in Elementary Ed. I am also certified in Early Childhood Education & I have my Masters in Educational Leadership. As the summer approaches, I wanted to continue working in the field with children and I hope I can be the perfect fit for you family. I am a pet lover & I have been a dog-sitter for years as well. So family fur babies are no issue! I'd describe my personality as energetic, loving, & committed! I like working with kids because I like making a difference in their lives. Especially when they are young and helping them to mold their young minds! Their free spirit & innocence reminds me that even as adults we need to remember that we too were once children and to not always be so serious!
