About Mckenzie

My experience caring for children began when I was in middle school. I started babysitting at the age of 12 and found a passion for care taking. In high school I began working at Primrose - an early childhood education center where I primarily worked with toddlers. Throughout college I worked at Noah's Ark Christian Daycare in Lincoln, NE and primarily worked with elementary aged children and infants. My husband and I moved to Colorado for a brief time and there I worked at a Goddard School. At Goddard I primarily worked with infants through 3 years old. Having experience with many different ages I have learned that I truly enjoy each phase of early childhood education. Throughout my years of childcare, I have also spent time volunteering in youth/children ministries at my church, mentoring, and participating in non-profit organizations that serve children. I am passionate about engaging with children and helping them learn, grow and know that they are loved and cared for.
