About McKenzie

I'm a kind, caring, and attentive Penn State graduate who truly loves working with children. I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and hope to continue gaining meaningful experience with children and families while supporting myself financially. For the past three years, I've worked in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and teacher at a private school for children with severe autism. This experience has taught me patience, empathy, adaptability, and how to work confidently with children of all behaviors, developmental needs, and communication styles. I love incorporating educational and developmental activities into my care and believe learning should be fun, engaging, and creative. I'm reliable, punctual, responsible, and a strong problem solver. Above all, I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child feels understood, encouraged, and cared for.
