About Mckenna

After 10 years of experience babysitting, I'm like a Mary Poppins come to life. I love to help around the house by cooking and cleaning in addition to keeping the children happy. I'd describe my personality as Sweet, Loyal, and Silly. I love working with kids because they are so perfectly and unhelpably honest. I'm looking for a job that is a great match for both me and the family I care for. When I was 12 years old, I started babysitting for the weekly bible study down the street. I like to paint, listen to music, and spend time with my kitten and friends. I have an AA in Psychology and am working to complete my bachelor's degree through Cal State Long Beach. I have a background in child psychology, which a focus in early childhood trauma. I am very sensitive to children's emotions and am passionate that they are safe and being adequately loved. I am currently researching Gentle Parenting techniques. My skills include emotion management, games, and teaching children empathy.
