About Mckenna

Hello & thanks for taking the time to read through my bio! Since I was a teenager I have on and off again worked with children, either in an academic setting as an assistant teacher in a Montessori school or as a one on one nanny, finding the joy in the unique discoveries each day brings. I support families by being patient, creative, and compassionate. I believe in a Waldorf-style approach to childcare. I love exploring nature-based activities, tailoring games to each child's interests, and encouraging learning through curiosity. I have First Aid Training, beginning training as a Doula, and a keen interest in Early Childhood Edu. & Development. I am also happy to help with carpooling and light housekeeping/running errands. A little about me: I grew up working on farms & riding horses, it is my dream to have my own self sufficient farm one day! I have interned as a chef, traveled to six countries (hoping to make it 7 next spring!), and love music of all kinds (:
