About Mckenna

Hello & thanks for taking the time to read through my bio! I've worked in childcare on and off again since I was a teenager, either in an academic setting as an assistant teacher in a Montessori school or as a one on one nanny/ babysitter. I best support families by being detail oriented, patient, and a warm presence in their childrens lives. I believe in a Waldorf-style approach to childcare and learning, aiming to encourage learning through curiosity and building up confidence in the children I work with. I have First Aid Training, beginning training as a Doula, and years worth of studying in Early Childhood Edu. & Development. I am also happy to help with carpooling and light housekeeping/running errands! A little about me: I grew up working on farms & riding horses, it is my dream to have my own self sufficient farm one day! I have interned as a chef, traveled to six countries (hoping to make it 7 next spring!), and love music of all kinds (:
