About Maysen

I've been working with children as long as I can remember! In high school I was part of Sandpiper Juniors where one of our regular opportunities was tutoring children at the Richstone Family Center. I also volunteered at a YMCA preschool in Torrance and completed a course called "Developmental Psychology of Children." In college, I volunteered at Midvale Elementary and during my senior year of college I worked as an Early Childhood Education Teacher's Assistant at a small Catholic school called St. James. Upon graduation, I moved home to the South Bay and landed a job as a preschool teacher at American Martyrs Catholic school where I worked for 2 years full time and one year as a substitute teacher. I decided to become a nanny to a family with 3 young children while I was a sub but they no longer need me. I also regularly babysit for multiple American Martyrs families. I love working with children and truly believe it is my purpose in life as it brings me so much joy!
