Hi! I'm Megan, a middle school special education teacher located in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. I have a wide range of experience teaching and caring for children across all age groups, including children with special needs. Working with children has been what I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember--it's something I genuinely enjoy and believe I am good at. I began babysitting and tutoring in high school. While I attended college, I worked for an after school program for elementary aged children. I student taught a second-grade class, and also held a student teaching position as a resource teacher at a middle and high school. Once I graduated I worked for a preschool/daycare center, where I cared for infants, toddlers, and 3-4-year-old preschoolers. I then relocated to Los Angeles, where I currently am a special education teacher at a middle school.
