About Maya

Hi! I am a second year electrical engineering student, where I tutor calculus and a variety of other math classes. I am an extremely good math student, and a passionate teacher. I graduated high school in 3 years, and I have amazing references from the math department at my college. For the past few years, I have also done private tutoring outside of my school's math lab! I love working with students of all ages and from my tutoring experience I have learned that the best ways to teach math include teaching study skills and infusing students with the confidence to learn! I can tutor all math including Calculus 1/2/3, or AP calc AB/BC. I can also tutor SAT math! I started tutoring when I was 16, around 2 and a half years ago when my peers needed SAT support. I'd describe my personality as talkative, energetic, positive. In my spare time, I like to surf, hike mountains, dance, and backpack foreign countries.
