About Maggie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my three years of tutoring /teaching experience. I hold a college degree in Environmental Studies and specialize in supporting elementary, middle, and high school students in Math, English, Science, and Spanish. I also have experience teaching English as a second language to native Spanish speakers. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, patient, and supportive environment. I incorporate visual aids, hands-on activities, and practice problems and connect complex topics to your personal interests to keep things fun. Witnessing that moment when a concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work.
