About Maya

I am a dedicated childcare professional with over 12 years of experience working with children. I began working with kids at 16 as a gymnastics coach, where I developed a passion for helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. I have experience as a nanny and household manager, caring for children of all ages. My responsibilities include meal and snack preparation, grocery shopping, household upkeep, organizing, driving to activities, sick care, and supporting daily routines. I currently work for a family of four with a baby on the way. I incorporate Montessori-based learning, screen-free activities, outings, arts and crafts, and opportunities to build independence and creativity. I am goofy, intelligent, patient, dependable, and nurturing. I love children's curiosity and unique perspective on life. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, cooking, baking, spending time with my son, walking my dog, and relaxing with my cat and dog.
