About Maya

Hi! I'm from Denver and am currently a sophomore at the UCB. I also spent a year at Colgate Universiry in New York. In my spare time, I like to hike, bake, craft, shop, and exercise! I first gained childcare experience being the older sister of three younger siblings, particularly by helping out with my sister who is 13 years younger than me. Having a baby sister, I gained confidence changing, washing, feeding, and playing with babies! I have two younger brothers, one of whom is on the spectrum, so I feel comfortable facilitating a calm and fun environment for neurodivergent kids! I also spent 4 years working as a teaching assistant for 1st and 3rd graders at Temple Emmanuel, and spent my last summer as a Lead Day Camp Counselor for rising Kindergartners.
