About Maya

I am looking for a summer nanny job from June- Mid August before I start a new job at a school. I earned my MSW from UW in 2021 and am taking a break from social work in the non-profit field. I have experience nannying for three families- each had one child between the ages of 10 months-2 years, so I especially love this age range. But I have worked with kids of all ages from my experiences as a preschool teaching assistant, coordinating a reading tutoring program in an elementary school with a total of 60 students on a weekly basis (grades k-4), volunteering as a camp counselor for grieving children ages 8-11, and running a leadership program for high schoolers. I also have a sister who is 12 years younger than me who I babysat throughout my life. I love crafts, music, reading, and outdoor activities! I am fluent in German, conversational in French, and know basic ASL. Overall, I love working with kids and have been doing so for most of the past 8 years!
