About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya, and I am a responsible, energetic, and caring childcare provider. I am currently a student at the University of Utah, where I balance academics, athletics, and leadership opportunities that have strengthened my communication, teamwork, and responsibility skills. I love working with kids because it's rewarding to help them learn, grow, and feel confident in a fun and supportive environment. I started working with kids about two years ago and have experience caring for children of different ages. I also teach dance to kids, which has helped me develop strong leadership, patience, and creativity skills while encouraging children to express themselves and build confidence. My top childcare skills are communication, dependability, and creating fun, engaging activities that keep kids active, supported, and encouraged.
