About Maya

Hi parents! I graduated from Chapman University May 2024 with my BA in Strategic and Corporate Communication. While at school, I worked for a nonprofit organization, the Youth Centers of Orange, where I was caring for groups of 15 to 25 children every week day for 3 years. Creating crafts, outdoor activities, and tutoring. I would travel home to VA for the summer and worked at York County Summer Fun. A 5 week summer camp. I was in charge of 15, 3-5-year-olds 9 hrs a day, 5 days a week. Conducting crafts, games, and playground time. Before moving to Denver in Sept, I was a date night babysitter for two young boys (3yo & 7yo) where I did overnight stays some weekends. I was also a full-time nanny (8am-3 p.m. m-f) for a 16 mo old girl. I started when she was 9 mo old. When caring for children, I value staying active, getting creative, and 100% immersing myself into the time I spend with them. I have a passion for becoming a role model/best friend for your child!
