About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate. I live in Boulder, CO. I love working with kids and have been for years: teaching dance to ages 5-15, as a nanny for twin 1yr olds (2022), a 7mo old (2019), and for a 6mo and 3yr old (2017), and a family of three on and off for the last 12 years, now ages 8, 11, and 14 years. The eldest is blind and autistic so I have experience with extra behavioral/physical needs. I worked as a summer camp counselor for children 6-12, giving me experience in engaging and entertaining kids with crafts, outdoor play, and educational activities. I have a MFA in Dance from CU Boulder and a BFA from TCU. I am very adaptable and a quick learner. I strongly believe that every child is unique and thus requires affection, guidance, and discipline that is tailored to them. I love getting to know and investing in each child according to their needs.
