About Maya

Hello! My preferred name is Milo (they/them). As a child caregiver for 14+ years, I confidently, reliably and compassionately navigate childcare for many different families and environments. I have a passion working with kids of all ages, and I have done so for dozens of families throughout my life. In recent years during my full time career, I worked part time with a self-directed learning co-op that was made up of families with kids ages 5-12. My role was to care for and foster their creativity in various outdoor public spaces. Working with kids is something that comes naturally to me and I enjoy building kind connections and fostering play and curiosity for children during their important years of growth. I especially enjoy facillitating outdoor play, as well as other hands-on creative mediums. I also have experience with assisting children with executive functioning challenges. I am a safe and reliable driver with a car, good with pets, and happy to provide references.
