About Maya

I am an experienced childcare provider who is attending social work school in the fall! I have volunteered with Horizons for Unhoused Children for almost four years, providing trauma informed childcare at an after school play space for 6m - 4yo. Worked full time as a nanny for a summer for a 2yo, biweekly after school babysitter for 1 and 3yo for a year prior. Planning to focus on early childhood in my MSW program. In my spare time, I like to paint, read and spend time in the outdoors! My skills include being organized, patient, and creative (especially in playing and planning activities).
