About Maya

I'm a dedicated and dependable caregiver with a strong academic and leadership background. I earned my GED with honors and am currently a third-year Kinesiology major at CSU with a 3. 5 GPA. I serve as the Community Service Director for my sorority and founded a ministry that is now an established, recognized club through CSUSM. I have about a year of experience tutoring elementary-aged students in nearly every subject, helping build both confidence and academic skills. I'm patient, organized, and great at adapting to each child's learning style. In addition to academics, I play guitar and offer beginner guitar lessons for kids who are interested in learning music in a fun, encouraging way.
