About Maya

I am an experienced babysitter who currently works at Elementary as a paraprofessional in the adaptive classroom. I am both a birth and postpartum doula, (for newborns I have also taken the Newborn Care Specialist course for Newborn Care Solutions and a basic breastfeeding knowledge course provided in both my birth and postpartum doula training). I have 7 years experience babysitting or teaching kids between the ages of birth to 11 years old. I have experience with mental and physical disabilities in children, and I work well even with behaviors that prove difficult because of my current special education job. I have worked with plenty of children and I have never found one I don't get along with. I have a passion for working with children and I don't get tired of it. I prefer gentle parenting and no/minimal screen approach, but it is of course up to the parents
