Hi there! My name is Emily, and I've been working with kids for over 8 years now-starting with babysitting for local families (ages 1 through 12), and later spending 2 years at a daycare center. I began there as a floater teacher, gaining experience with infants through Pre-K, and eventually became the afternoon teacher for the 3-year-old classroom. During that time, I strengthened my skills in managing routines, leading age-appropriate activities, and helping little ones navigate big emotions. I'm comfortable with children of all ages, and I'm also totally fine with pets in the home! I'm responsible, kind, and patient-and I genuinely love building connections with the kids I care for. Emily was our nanny for five years, and she was OUTSTANDING! We only stopped working with Emily because she went to college. As a family of six (10 year old boy, 7 year old girl, four year old girl, one and a half year old boy) it can be challenging finding a care giver that can watch so many different age groups, and give all the children the attention they need. Emily has done an amazing job caring for our children while also being fun and responsible. She is a great driver, she is a great communicator, and she is always on time. The kids love her so much, it has been hard finding a caregiver since. We cannot recommend her enough!
