Hi, my name is Maxine! I'm an aerospace engineer who completed my bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering. I love working with kids and have lots of experience tutoring! I took 10+ AP classes in high school, excelled at standardized tests, and was even captain of my math team. I've worked with kids of all ages, ranging from elementary school through high school. I also have lots of experience doing ACT tutoring with prove results! I have experience working with special needs students as well. I find that my patience, charisma, and communication skills make me a great tutor for students of all ages and personalities!

Maxine was a fantastic tutor for my 16yo son as he prepared for his ACT test. She went above and beyond to help us get practice materials and set up a study plan for him. She was very flexible with his schedule and was able to meet in person most of the sessions. Maxine has great energy and was able to motivate my son who does NOT love to study!! She was a lifesaver!
