About Maureen

With a distinguished degree in Elementary Education, it's no secret that I have a passion for learning, but especially literacy. I have taken several courses on literacy development, and love working on those skills through reading books together, imaginative play, and conversation. I find that children are always looking for ways to expand their own horizons, and I believe in fostering that curiosity. Learning is a life long endeavor, and one that has peaks and valleys, so it is important for children to take the time to explore the world around them and find what drives them. In addition to the normal childcare responsibilities, I would also with light housekeeping, homework, and some basic cooking when time permits. Looking forward to hearing from you!
