About Maura

Hi there! My name is Maura and I'm 24 years old. I recently graduated from the University of Delaware this past December with a degree in elementary education with a concentration in special education! I am licensed to teach both elementary education (K-6) and special education (K-12) in the state of Delaware! As I just moved out to Eugene 2 months ago, I'm currently waiting on my license in Oregon. I have been a substitute teacher at my elementary school and high school in New Jersey for the last 3 years - including work as a paraprofessional! I love teaching and helping kids to better understand subjects that may not come as naturally to them as other subjects do! Teaching is my absolute passion and I would love to work with anyone who needs additional help while I wait for my license to be approved!
