Hi! My name is Maura. I am a RN working in caretaking positions for patients who need assistance at home. Think of me as a knowledgeable nurse who loves to shop and cook. I assist with ADL's and dressing. Medication organization and keep track of Dr appointments. I provide transportation to appointments and basically whatever I can do to make your life easier. I have limited lifting abilities due to history of back surgeries. I am perfectly fine assisting I just don't feel comfortable with need for someone who needs a total lift. I'm knowledgeable in wound care and diabetes as well as patients with dementia/Alzheimers. My biggest compliment I hear from my home care patients & families is that they feel I become a part of their family during a trying time and that just means the world to me:)

I have known Maura for the last several years. She has worked in my office very often as a substitute nurse in a 1500 pupil building that houses grades 6-12. Her nursing skills are excellent. She easily integrates into the building, has a remarkable rapport with students and staff alike, and has functioned as the lead nurse when I am called to meetings etc... Parents and staff alike have always had positive feedback about Maura. She is always the first substitute nurse I reach out to when a sub is required.
