I am also a baking/cooking enthusiast so teaching the kids how to make individual mini-cakes and sugar cookies came almost naturally and it was always something they looked forward to when I babysat. We also played many of their favorite games and practiced learning exercises, we played outside whenever it was warm to keep the kids active outdoors as well, Friday nights were movie nights for the kids. So I'd let them pick at least 2 of their favorite movies to watch for the night while we all enjoyed some homemade snacks:)
