About Matthew

I live in Scottsdale and have experience working with children in k-12 schools and in the home. I am an artist that enjoys working with and being an advocate for at-risk youth and youth with special needs. I bring my artwork and other skills into my work with youth by inspiring them to give themselves permission to be themselves through my artwork and personality while teaching them to have healthy creative releases and to problem solve in ways that are creative, mindful, responsible, respectful, inclusive, healing, and restorative so that they are loving and kind to each other and themselves while appreciating their beauty and differences. I have a dynamic background working with you in roles including Fine Arts Teacher, English Language Arts Tutor, Dean of Students/Restorative Justice Facilitator, Emergency Teacher Assistant, Education Paraprofessional, Substitute Teacher, Aftercare Counselor, and Summer care counselor.
