About Matia
Hello! I am currently a student at the University of Colorado Boulder pursuing a degree in Astrophysics, with minors in Quantum Engineering and Philosophy. In my free time, I love to paint, make crafts, play piano, and take dance classes. I have been consistently babysitting for three families over the past three years, caring for children ages 5 months to 9 years old. It has been an honor watching them grow! With these families, I've made crafts, helped with homework, spent lots of time outdoors and at the park, cooked meals, and more. Recently I have been volunteering with CU's PISEC program, where undergrads like myself engage students in hands-on science activities. I love finding creative, fun ways to support kids and spark their curiosity. I'm also a proud aunt to four nephews and two nieces! My three older sisters are huge inspirations for me, I aspire to have their patience, empathy, and energy for every child I care for.
