About Masey

I'm originally from Vermont and am currently in my third year living in the city while attending college. I'm a senior studying criminology, with minors in several creative fields. My experience with childcare started early. I grew up alongside my mother while she worked as a full-time nanny, so caring for children was something I was familiar with from a young age. When my mother became a foster parent, I became the eldest in a growing family, which taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and adapting to different needs and personalities. I continued building my experience by volunteering as a paraeducator at an arts-focused elementary school. My first paid childcare position was at a preschool where I worked with children ranging from 8 weeks old to 5 years old. I value creativity, nature, and the arts and believe children should have the opportunity to explore, ask questions, and develop their own interests.
