I am a recent licensed Occupational Therapist currently working part-time in pediatrics in Atlanta, GA. This past year, I assisted in the 24 hour caretaking of my mother with ALS. Through this experience, as well as my education, I am familiar and confident in the utilization of adaptive equipment, PEG tube feedings, transfers, medication management, and completion of other activities of daily living. Although my mother has passed away, I understand how a caring and compassionate caregiver can significantly improve the quality of life for an individual. I am also comfortable working with individuals of all ages. While pursuing my undergraduate degree I also worked as a caregiver for a teenager with Cerebral Palsy and Autism.
