About Mary-kate

Hi! From Wisconsin, I moved to New York to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, class of 2020. I started babysitting at age 14 and continued throughout high school. My senior year of high school I worked in a kindergarten class and helped the kids with sounding out their letters, learning shapes, as well as encouraging them to make observations and ask questions. After college, I nannied for several families in the city with children ranging from ages 1 to 7. Mostly providing date night care, our evenings together consisted of diaper changes, bottles, making dinner, homework help, singing songs, and bedtime routine. I love a good movie night, but also value screen free play and my background in theater helps make things fun. For the past year I was living in Hawaii while working at a non profit organic farm and helping raise my soon-to-be 2-year-old niece. I'm back in the city now and excited to use all of my previous experiences to provide excellent care to your family!
