I am passionate about working with children and adults with special needs. I provide an individualized program called Moving with Mary that offers private lessons in sport and physical education to anyone with special needs. I am a current member of MOAHPERD ( Missouri Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance ) and a professional member/coach with the ISI ( Ice Skating Institute ) I hold a Masters Degree in Secondary Education and a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Health. I have five years experience teaching developmental gymnastics, six years experience teaching aerobics/water aerobics and six years experience as a swimming instructor. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I also have six years experience teaching K-12 physical education and health and have worked with many children with special needs in my classes. I have worked with adults both in nursing homes, as a volunteer, and through my water fitness classes in the past.
