About Mary

I'd describe my personality as calm, patient and loving. Ask anyone: I'm a baby/kid person! It's something you can't teach-a natural calm and loving personality that fosters a little one's (even a baby's) positive self esteem. Acceptance, assurance, a happy disposition and positive reinforcement. I am highly educated with lots of Child Development coursework in my undergraduate degree, but again it's my genuine "love for the littles" that will set me apart from other caretakers. I have tons of experience and have raised 3 children of my own. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise and spend time with my husband and family( to include my grandchildren of course!). I absolutely LOVE babies and children! My skills include patience; a genuine love of babies and children; the ability to understand child's perspective; gentle guidance with positive reinforcement; my biggest secret childcare tool: distraction!
