My name is Shirley, I've been working with children for most part of my life. I started working with children in 2009 for about eight years, I began by having my own daycare at home for three years. I was able to obtain my CPR, licence and the skills needed to work with children. My daycare was full of children of different ages such as babies and toddlers. My journey with a special needs child started five years ago, I enjoy interacting and being able to teach kids new things every days. Some activities I personally think children love are going on field trips such as the zoo, pool, farm, arcade, and library. Other activities might include taking children to summer camps, therapies and school activities.

Shirley was an excellent care giver for our son, who has Down syndrome. We always felt safe and knew that Shirley was both conscientious and loved by our son as she took care of him while we were both working. Shirley is a well rounded care giver who can be responsible for children or all ages and abilities and is someone we can recommend to care for the elderly, as well, if there is a need.
