Hi! My name is MaryKate and my childcare experience spans my entire life as I am the oldest of four children, with my youngest sibling being 10 years younger than me. On top of my expected immediate family childcare responsibilities, I have also been babysitting for other families locally since the age of 12, continued to nanny in my college town of Charleston, and most recently, as an au pair abroad in Europe. I lived in Paris, France for two years where I was an au pair for a family with three children. It was the most formative experience and it absolutely rounded out my childcare experience. While I have two college degrees, I am in the process of starting an online party supply and gift boutique and am looking for a full-time job in something that comes naturally to me and will allow me the ability to build my business in my downtime. I look forward to meeting a family who I can form a strong bond and have fun with!
